New French Headquarters for Antares Vision: Growing Stronger to Support EU Serialization

On October 18, 2016 the company celebrates its new subsidiary opening, with a specialized seminar dedicated to French pharma manufacturers and CMOs featuring top industry experts and specialists of Antares Vision and strategic partner ADMC.

Antares Vision celebrates the launch of its new base of operations in Lyon, France with a workshop on the upcoming serialization challenges, presenting live equipment demonstrations and sharing the expertise of top pharmaceutical companies who have successfully deployed their track & trace programs.
A leading supplier of inspection and traceability solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, Antares Vision has constantly grown its worldwide presence in recent years. In the words of Ing. Emidio Zorzella, CEO, “The new French offices opening marks another milestone in our growth strategy, aiming to better reach our customers locally while increasing our engineering, production and service resources as a global organization”.
“The timing could not be better – adds Nicolas Perrin, branch manager of the new subsidiary – as France represents a key market with a vast potential, while we approach the EU-FMD serialization deadline”.
More than 20 plants in France have been equipped with Antares Vision’s traceability systems so far, to comply with French coding as well as serialization, thanks to a strategic partnership with Paris-based distributor ADMC: the team now expands and, as managing director Jean-François Meriot remarks, “we will add capability to support our French projects and provide assistance efficiently across the country from two locations”.
The Lyon facility will host a fully equipped demo area and will serve as the regional hub for project management, technical support, spare parts and training services of Antares Vision “to streamline the quick delivery of our technology as well as our comprehensive service portfolio” adds Perrin.

Get Ready For Serialization: The Workshop
To mark the opening event, Antares Vision is organizing a workshop where key experts will share their experiences and best practices to an audience looking for advice in the complex process of defining and executing a serialization strategy.
Guest speakers will include Jean-Marc Bobée, Director of Industrial Anti-Counterfeiting Strategy at Sanofi, Ian Parsonage, Senior Director of Global Serialization Services at PCI and Olivier Feraille, Senior Sales Manager at Cognex.
Among topics covered will be the current status of international legislation on track & trace, case studies of successful implementations within brand owners and CMOs, secure data management and a focus on vision technology.
“Drug counterfeiting is on the rise globally and regulatory deadlines are approaching fast,” said Adriano Fusco, Director, Strategy and Development of Antares Vision. “The pharmaceutical supply chain will soon be at a critical point to ensure patient safety. From drug manufacturers to distributors, all supply chain partners will need to make crucial decisions to upgrade their production lines in compliance with traceability deadlines. We designed this workshop to inform and help companies make wise choices.”
After a live demonstration of serialization equipment with tamper evident features, the aggregation process and an overview on the ATS software architecture, a closing session of questions and answers will involve all the panel experts.
